About

Dr. Kashala Fabrice Kapiamba completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering at the University of Miami in 2025. His published work spans mineral processing and flotation, emulsion chemistry, and aerosol science — including studies of the physical, chemical and toxicological properties of electronic cigarette aerosols. He now works as a process engineer in industry.

He is a co-author on both of the green-synthesis papers from my time in South Africa: the stabilised iron nanoparticles made from acid mine drainage and Rooibos tea, published in ACS Omega (2022, 7, 24423–24431), and the bimetallic FeMn nanoparticles for azo-dye degradation.

Working on something that overlaps?

If your research touches the same questions, I would like to hear about it — whether that is a joint paper, a shared sample set, or a conversation about where the work is going.
